The BIMSTEC Secretariat organized a webinar, "Global Dialogues on AI for Peace & Sustainability: Algorithmic Sovereignty, Judicial Independence and Responsible AI Use in the Courtroom," in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair on AI Law & Sustainability and the Centre for International Law (CIL), National University of Singapore. It brought together distinguished judges, legal practitioners, policymakers, and experts to exchange perspectives on    responsible use of artificial intelligence in judicial systems, with particular emphasis on algorithmic sovereignty, judicial independence, legal ethics, and the governance of AI in courts.
